LPSD State Convention results and Candidates for 2020

The Libertarian Party of South Dakota recently held our annual state convention at the LB longbranch in Pierre SD on May 9th.


In a first of its kind hybrid convention, we allowed members to participate in person and also online due to Covid 19 concerns to allow for maximum participation of the State party membership.

The LPSD successfully won a lawsuit in 2018 that allows us to nominate our candidates at our state convention, we had a great turn out this year! With that said we are pleased to announce our candidates for office in 2020:

We also added and elected 3  new Regional Coordinators to our State Executive Committee at our convention but we think they deserve their own article, so that will be coming soon!
